Although San Quentin has not seen an outbreak among its prisoners, Jarvis attests to the high anxiety levels present at the facility. Statewide, California prisons have reported 634 confirmed cases and 5 deaths total as of May 15, 2020 according to the CA Dept. of Corrections’ Tracking webpage here.
