Season 2 of "Dear Governor" Premieres Today

Season 1 of the “Dear Governor” podcast followed Jarvis' ongoing saga as he and his legal team wended through the habeas corpus oral arguments with the California Supreme Court.

In Season 2, host Corny Koehl will be reporting on his post-conviction proceedings before the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She’ll be joined by experts on the case and those who inhabit Jarvis' circle outside the prison confines, including the chaplain who established Buddhist services on death row, and the private investigator who introduced Jarvis to Buddhism 30 years ago, among many other guests. This season will dig deeper into facets of Jarvis’ life as well as the deeply flawed U.S. criminal justice system.
